I've always said "im going to invest" or "eventually" buy the Canon EOS 400D, well... I have! Finally, I bought it from Dixons at London, Gatwick Airport (£450) tax free . I also bought a Compact Flash 8GB memory card (£150) (which pretty much cleaned my pockets out, completley). Along with that I purchased a 'Lowpro' SLR weatherproof camera bag.

I managed to buy the camera and all the gear just before we went to Florida. I'm back now and I had the most amazing holiday i've had in a while! Saw some amaing sunsets and thunderstorms out there and if you look at my gallery you'll some lightning shots (first time by the way so don't be "amazed") as well as the sunset taken on Clearwater Beach, Tampa, Florida.

To make sure I could get those (near) perfect sunsets I purchased even more gear... a Canon EF-S 75 - 300mm Lens ($200, compared to £200 in the UK) for those long shots and a Craftsman Tripod from Sears($25).
